Event & Marketing Management Coordinator

This unpaid event planner coordinator position is an unpaid 20-hour position for someone interested in gaining experience working for a health and fitness nonprofit organization. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to organizing, planning, and coordinating events. The Event Planner Coordinator Intern will be working primarily with the Executive Director in organizing the senior events before and on the day of the event.

Recommended Qualifications:

• Pursuing an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in the field of hospitality and tourism, public relations, or related fields from an accredited college/university
• Highly organized and creative
• Considerable knowledge and willingness to learn the principles and practices of healthy eating and living.
• Has strong interpersonal skills and enjoys working with people
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Goal-oriented
